A well proven non-contact thickness and profile measurement system for all wood based panels. New version for measurements both before and after sanders, combined in one system. For control of sander speed to increase yield and to avoid rough surfaces and excessive sanding belt wear. Panel imperfections can directly be related to either the raw panel or the sander itself. Also useful as a break down safety control.
For sawmills and planer mills LIMAB present new 2D profile measurement systems for use in both lineal an tranversal conveyors. With the 2D-meaurement the complete board profiles will be measured with high resolution.
