Until now 13 systems has been delivered and the response is very good. The system is independent of vibrations and speed from the conveyor, variations in surrounding light and reflections from the wood surface. The Cup Profiler is equipped with two PreciCura SR of which one is scanning for cup and one compensates for vibrations. The system can also be supplied with a third PreciCura for measuring the thickness of the board. The system is reliable with no mechanical wear.

The system includes a Windows based PC with software that supplies you with all facilities you might wish for your sawmill, including: complete vane information, optimization of cutting for trimmers, reject/turning before edgers etc.

All information that the Board Profiler receives from the board will be logged in the system and can afterwards be used in e.g. Windows Excel program for your internal use. The system shows complete graphs of the structure and crosscut profile of each board etc.
