LIMABs new developed 2-D ProfiCura sensor uses the latest digital and optical lasertechnology with an advanced built-in microprocessor (DSP Digital Signal Processor) and CMOS-array. The system can be used for applications with width up to 300 mm.

To give information about a profile to a superior system (Ethernet and serial interface).

LIMAB BoardProfiler L gives a complete description of boards thicknessprofile in a lineal conveyor. The system can easily be mounted in an existing conveyor without any big costs for rebuildings. The system can be used for boards with width up to 300 mm.
LIMABs new developed 2-D ProfiCura sensor is the base in the system. The ProfiCura uses the latest digital and optical lasertechnology with an advanced built-in microprocessor (DSP Digital Signal Processor) and CMOS-array. This gives the high measureaccuracy that demands today in the woodindustry. Further advantages is low maintenancecost depending on non-contact measurement and sensors that is not affected by surrounding light or wet boards.

LIMAB at Xylexpo 2010

The 22nd Xylexpo, the biennial world exhibition dedicated to woodworking technologies and furniture supplies, took place from 4 through 8 May 2010 in Milan, Italy.

LIMAB was presenting a complete range of non contact, laser based, measuring systems for the panel industry and the saw mills.

LIMAB North America Inc participated at the annual Iron & Steel exhibition AISTech.

LIMAB North America Inc participated at the annual Iron & Steel exhibition AISTech, which this year was held in Pittsburgh. During the show we introduced our new 2D sensor, the Proficast. To start with,
this sensor will be used for edge profile measurements of slabs. It will be integrated in our slab measurement system, the SlabProfiler. For more information about this product, please contact us at LIMAB.
