LIMAB has since its foundation in 1979 been dedicated to the design and manufacture of non-contact in-process measurement and inspection systems. Today LIMAB supply all of the major gypsum companies world-wide with monitoring systems and have installations in more than 150 gypsum sites. We started with the GMS1100 system for dimensional measurement of gypsum boards and have now introduced a number of new monitoring systems in our product range, systems being asked for that will fill needs in modern production lines. All systems monitor quite different criterias of the plasterboards, but they have some similarities; all systems work in-line, non-contact and using reflection of light (Laser, LED or Infrared) from the boards to extract relevant product characteristics.
