Major enhancement to LIMAB’s GMS1100 gypsum board measurement system with introduction of new laser sensor

Starting from June 1st  2018, LIMAB has released the new ProfiCura Gypsum sensor, an integrated part of the LIMAB GMS1100 gypsum board measurement system. The ProfiCura Gypsum measures the board width as well as the edge profile. The sensor has been developed by our sensor development department specifically for the gypsum industry with a focus on improving measuring performance.

The new sensor provides more edge detail and higher width accuracy than previous generation sensors. Combined with a fast response rate, it provides instant feedback of process changes enabling operators better process control.

Great success at Tube 2018 in Düsseldorf

The Tube 2018 exhibition in Düsseldorf during April 16-20 was a great success for LIMAB. During the week, our stand was full with visitors interested in our in-line measurement systems for the tube industry. LIMAB has the capability of delivering several different product versions to measure tube OD, ovality, straightness, shape, length and defects.
