PanelProfiler is a non-contact, laser-based system for continuous in-line thickness measurement of panel products. Equipped with LIMAB’s own high-precision PreciCura laser sensors, the system delivers accurate and reliable measurements across the production line.Designed for materials such as MDF, OSB, chipboard, hardboard, plywood, rigid foam, HPL and fiber cement, PanelProfiler can be integrated into press lines, sanders and finishing lines.With non-contact measurement, the system performs reliably at high production speeds and on softer materials, while reducing maintenance and eliminating the risk of marks or scratches caused by mechanical contact measurement.
LIMAB’s different line locations
Our systems can be installed before and after the press, before, between and after the sanders, as well as at the finishing line. Several PanelProfiler frames can be used with only one computer and operator screen.
